Mileage Warranties & Limited Warranty

All Michelin tires4 (both Replacement & Original Equipment) come with a limited warranty. This is for tread wear, as well as a limited warranty which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. Mileage tread wear warranties vary by tire line. We can provide  specific mileage tread wear warranty for the MICHELIN tire  that is best for your vehicle.

Register your MICHELIN Tires

Help us keep you safe throughout the life of your tires. Brown’s Alignment and Michelin care about your safety. When you purchase your tires, We will give you a DOT Tire Registration Card or an Owner’s Manual which includes a DOT Tire Registration Card in the back. Browns can help you complete the card and mail it for you or you can register on-line. In the unlikely event of a safety recall, it is important to have your contact information so Michelin can contact you directly.

How many miles will I get on my tires?

Many factors affect the life of your tires, such as tread compounds, construction features, driving style, road conditions, etc., which makes exact mileage impossible to predict. However, as part of The Michelin Promise Program, all MICHELIN passenger and light truck tires (replacement & original equipment) are covered by a limited warranty for tread wear.

Is my damaged tire covered by a Michelin warranty?

Bring you tire in to Brown’s so we can inspect the damage. Michelin tires have a warranty that covers workmanship defects.

  1. Certain conditions and limitations apply. See the Michelin Owner’s Manual for complete description and details.
  2. Original Equipment tires are excluded.
  3. Excludes DOT–approved competition tires (e.g., MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup tires). Mileage warranties vary by tire line. Contact Brown’s for more details on specific mileage warranties, including those for split fitments.
  4. Excludes DOT–approved competition tires and applies to tires that come as original equipment on model year 2011 and later vehicle.
